AILOR, GLORIA JEAN MILLER - age 73 of Maynardville, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was surrounded by her entire family and numerous friends. Her kindness to others was only exceeded by her generosity and the love of her fellowman. Mom had a beautiful smile that she shared with everyone. She could even smile with her emerald green eyes. She was owner and manager of Seb's Mobile Home Park, a family business that was started in 1970 by Gloria and her husband Claude (Seb) Ailor. Long time member of Ailor Dale Missionary Baptist Church. Professed her faith in Jesus Christ at a very young age. A devoted wife and loving mother her entire life. Her unconditional love for her family and friends was endless. Our warmest memories are of the holidays Mom loved to celebrate the gathering of her family. Gardening and outdoor activities were her favorite past time. Mom helped so many people during her lifetime, she will be deeply missed by past and present tenants. Her greatest gift to her daughters was the ability to give unconditional love. KATHERINE HALL - age 93, passed away peacefully April 27, 2007 at her home in Hall's Crossroads. She was born September 11, 1913 in Rockwood to Grace Dixon Hill Hall and William Earnest Hall, Sr. She married Kinser Curtis Blankenship on May 7, 1937. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother and caregiver. She and Curtis first lived in Harriman then joined some 500 other families to be among the first to live in Oak Ridge during World War II. Following the war they moved to her mother's old home place on Post Oak Road near Rockwood where they lived for over 40 years until they moved to Hall's Crossroads. In her active years she enjoyed having bridge parties with their many friends, making hummingbird mobiles which she sold throughout the world and volunteering as a pink lady at Chamberlin Memorial Hospital in Rockwood and St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville. She was a member of the Rockwood First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, older sister Elizabeth and younger brother W. E. David graduated from Rule High School and the University of Tennessee where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts, and Masters Degree in Political Science. He loved everything about the University of Tennessee from the educational, to the arts, to the football and basketball teams. He was a member of Apostles Anglican Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jerre's life was illuminated by his love for family and friends and dedication to his work in regional management with BellSouth where he celebrated 40 years of service in September of 2006. He received several honors from BellSouth for his exemplary work. Jerre was active as a coach and parent in Knoxville youth sports and a past member of West Knoxville Rotary Club and Toastmasters International. Jerre received an associate's degree in engineering from State Technical University and a Bachelor's in Marketing from Tusculum College. Born in Beech Bluff, Tennessee, son of the late L. Danny served six years in the United States Navy where he was a computer specialist and maintained the computer system aboard the USS America in Vietnam. He retired from Motorola Corporation after 25 years as a project manager, and in his free time enjoyed amature photography and boating and fishing on Norris Lake. Chuck was a shriner, a member of the Kerbela Temple and Scottish Rite bodies, was a former past president of West Knox Shrine and was a mason. Chuck was a veteran of the US Army.
