LANGLEY, SHIRLEY FAYE JACKSON - age 75 of Oakdale, TN passed away on July 17, 2007. Shirley was one of the oldest living heart transplant recipients (June 1991) in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by: her husband; Gilbert Langley; daughter, Kemmy Langley and grandson, Eddie Nelson. She is survived by: her son, Dean Langley and wife Alice of Oakdale; daughter, Cathy Carr and husband Phil of Oak Ridge, TN; special grandson, Todd Nelson and wife Rose of Harriman; grandchildren, Tyler and Sara Carr, Victoria Nelson, Paul and Holly Nelson, Anthony and Angel Nelson, Samantha and Joshua Gregory; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Smith Earnshaw of Fla. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 19, 2007 at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 20, 2007, 10:00 a.m. in the Crab Orchard Church cemetery, Oakdale, TN. She was born July 26, 1937 in Coalfield. Mrs. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hershal Junior Fitzgerald; parents, Homer and Gertie Brown; sister, Edith Holt; brothers, Ray and J.W. Brown and brother-in-law, Thomas Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her son, Michael Fitzgerald of Rockwood; daughters, Debbie Godsey and fiance' Michael Nelson of Rockwood, Lora Collins (Michael) of Lenoir City and Mary Jane Mullins of Kingston; step-sons, Donald Fitzgerald (Sandra) of Hillsboro, Oh., Danny Fitzgerald (Barbara) of Graysville, Tn.; step daughters, Gearldine Fitzgerald and Carolyn Wells both of Orange County, Ca. and Virginia Packer (Guy) of Battlecreek, Mi.; grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Brandon and Amanda Fitzgerald and Tessa Marie Mullins; brother, Ralph Stanley Brown of Rockwood; sisters, Carolyn Huettich (Rainer) of Trinity, Fl., Geri Kirkpatrick of Harriman, Dorene Dodd (Lynn) and Brenda Hicks (Terry) all of Oakdale; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends; also, special friend, Marilyn Shillings.
