    2. >From the Oak Ridger 25 Jul 2007 David Gonzalez, age 43, a resident of Oliver Springs, Hazel Smith Keele, age 90, of Oak Ridge, Lucy Diana Long-Stewart, age 53, of Oak Ridge, Tenn Katheryn Beatrice Testerman, age 84, of Oak Ridge, Ethel "Ma" Tieche, 90, of Union City, Ohio, David Gonzalez, age 43, a resident of Oliver Springs, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, in Chicago, Ill. Mr. Gonzalez was born March 24, 1964, in Chicago. He has lived in both Chicago and Oliver Springs. David worked in the construction business as a residential builder. Survivors include his mother, Ina Gonzalez Tenner of Oliver Springs; father, Angelo Gonzalez of Largo, Fla.; daughter, Eliza Nava and husband, Arnulos, of Chicago; grandchildren, Kayla Nava and Matthew Nava of Chicago; brothers, Ricky Osborne of Oliver Springs, James Gonzalez of Greene Cove Springs, Fla., Angel Gonzalez and wife, Lilin, of Chicago, Ill., and Alan Gonzalez and wife, Maria, of Oliver Springs; sisters, Alice Gonzalez of Chicago, and Gina Rivera and husband, George, of Tampa, Fla. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25, 2007, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Petros Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. An online register book is available for Mr. Gonzalez at www.sharpfh.com. Hazel Smith Keele, age 90, of Oak Ridge, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Briarcliff Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 17, 1916, in Earl, N.C., the daughter of Bomar Cleveland Smith and Blanche Nichols Smith. Mrs. Keele was a homemaker and a member of Kern Memorial United Methodist Church. She had been active with the Oak Ridge Garden Club, Bridge Clubs, Stock Club and she also did volunteer work at the Methodist Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keele was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy D. Keele, and son, Lacy D. Keele Jr. She is survived by a son, David B. Keele, of Oak Ridge; her sister, Violet Stokes and husband, Don, of Greer, S.C., and her children, Ricky Stokes and Ann Sherrill and her husband, Ted, and their children, John and Jennifer; and two grandchildren, Randall Keele of Nashville and Roxanne Keele of Johnson City. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim Bailes officiating. Lucy Diana Long-Stewart, age 53, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., departed this earthly life at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge on Sunday, July 22, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas "Tommy" Curd Long Jr. She was born to the parentage of the late Thomas Curd Long Sr. and Angelina Tabora Long. Lucy was a graduate of Clinton High School and a former secretary at Union Carbide X-10 Plant. She was a member of Little Leaf Baptist Church, and she enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, and taking care of her family. She was an avid UT football fan. "To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die." Cherished memories will remain with her son, Douglas Stewart and two grandchildren, Brooklyn Mitchell and Zoey Stewart, all of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a devoted companion, Jeffery Penson of Knoxville, Tenn.; three brothers, Rolando Long of Knoxville, Ross Long of Oak Ridge, and David Long of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Teresa Long-Stephens and husband, Alfred, of Oak Ridge; two special and devoted aunts, Clara Hughes of Oak Ridge, and Panella Henry of Oliver Springs; one uncle, William V. Curd Sr. of Knoxville; a special cousin, Sally Bazel of Harriman; a special friend, Douglas Stewart Sr. of Alcoa; special nieces and nephews; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The body will lie in state and the family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2007, from 11 a.m. until noon, and the funeral service will follow at Little Leaf Baptist Church, 228 Tri-County Boulevard, Oliver Springs, Tenn., with the Elder Thomas W. Dews and Reverend William Caldwell officiating. The family will accept visitors at the home of Teresa and Alfred Stephens, 229 Tusculum Drive, Oak Ridge. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements, and Littlebrook Cremation Company of Maryville, Tenn., is in charge of the remains. An online register book is available at www.sharpfh. com. Katheryn Beatrice Testerman, age 84, of Oak Ridge, left this world to be with our heavenly Father on July 22, 2007. She is survived by four children, Danny Edwin Testerman, Linda Karen Lenoir, Thomas Jerome Testerman, and Nancy Lillian Testerman; and by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. No Services, except for family members, will be held. Ethel "Ma" Tieche, 90, of Union City, Ohio, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at the home of her son. A homemaker, she was born in Norton, Va., on Sept. 14, 1916. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In her younger days, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking large meals for her family. Her husband, Hagan Tieche, along with daughters, Bobbie Sanders, Anna Rains and Jane Tieche, died earlier. She is survived by her son, Eddie Tieche of Union City, Ohio; grandson, Lee Tieche and his wife, Kay, of Nashville, Ind.; granddaughters, Cathy Roberts and her husband, Mike, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Charlotte Fleming and her husband, Keith, of Raleigh, N.C.; and several great-grandchildren.
