Melton, age 77, a resident of Oliver Springs, Kelty Lynn Nation, Robert Francis Pigeon, age 73 James Robert Weir Jr., age 74, of Knoxville, Ronald "Ron" White, age 60, of Oak Ridge, Earl Wilford Clough, age 86, died July 5, 2007, at Chester County Healthcare. He was born in Anderson County, (Clinton) Tenn., the son of the late Earl Plumley and Ruby Slover Clough. He attended schools in Anderson County. He was employed by the Civil Service in Washington, D.C., and in 1942 he became associated with elevator maintenance and later was in the elevator construction business with Westinghouse, Otis, and Homer Elevator companies. He returned to Memphis in 1976. He later worked for Guardsmark, retiring in 1985, and moving to Erin, Tenn. He moved to Henderson, Tenn., in 1995. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson. He is survived by a son, Michael Earl Clough and his wife, Judy, of Collierville, Tenn.; a daughter, Diane Eulene Manns of Walls, Miss.; a grandson, Brian Manns; and a brother, C.R. Clough Sr. of Oak Ridge, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eulene Weaver Clough, in 2002. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, from the chapel of Casey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Dyer officiating with burial at Bear Creek Cemetery. Creighton, age 69, of Harriman and formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the Marshall C. Voss Health Care Facility in Harriman. Ms. Creighton was born April 17, 1938, in Decatur, Ill., to the late John and Neta Creek Creighton. She worked as a waitress in Oak Ridge for many years. She is survived by two sons, Calvin Waller and wife, Tanya, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles Waller; and one daughter, Krista Slezinsky and husband, Robert, of Beeville, Texas; sister, Betty Greutman and husband, Mel, of Flat Rock, Mich.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Anthony Wayne Davidson, age 32, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., born June 28, 1974, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, Ark. Anthony, also known as "Big Boo-Boo," is the son of Sally Davidson and stepfather, George Lester. He enjoyed fishing, detailing cars, making music and, most of all, cooking and hanging out with his family and friends. Anthony was well known by everyone for having a big heart and helping anyone anyway he could. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Downing Jr.; grandfathers, Eugene Downing Sr. and William Davidson; grandmother, Ethel Davidson; aunt, Minnie Bates; uncles, Joseph Downing and Thomas Davidson; and very close friend, Terrance LaShaun Mims. Anthony is survived by his son, Anthony "Shaquawn" Davidson of Oak Ridge; sister, Kianna Gibson; brothers, Earl (Monica) Davidson of Virginia Beach, Va., and Alphonso (Clarissa) Davidson of Knoxville; five uncles; five aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at True Light Baptist Church, 3229 George Light Road, Solway, Tenn. The Rev. Waters will officiate. Bonnie Clark Dunkel died on July 7, 2007, at her residence in Rancho Viejo. Born April 20, 1932, in Springfield, Tennessee, Bonnie grew up in Oak Ridge. She was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She remained in Oak Ridge until 1973, when she moved to Columbus, Ohio, as a manufacturers representative with Golan and Sinton Inc. In November 1973, she married John Dunkel of Upper Arlington, Ohio, where they resided until retirement in 1990 to Rancho Viejo, in the Rio Grande Valley near Brownsville. Bonnie loved to travel and had seen most, if not all, of the world. She was a patron of the arts and a long standing supporter of Columbus theater. Bonnie is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Deborah, Evelyn and Jane; and six grandchildren. Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barbara Larson Kiker, age 85, of 108 Woodcrest Court in Americus, Ga., died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Hugh DeLoach and the Rev. Brian Myers officiated. The family received friends at the home. Mrs. Kiker was born May 14, 1922, in Monticello, Mo. She was the daughter of the late Albin Lawrence Larson and the late Jenny Cooley Larson. She was a floral designer for many years and was a former member of Glenwood Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, Tenn., where she served as Sunday School teacher and superintendent, WMU president, and circle leader. After retiring in 1982, she and her husband moved to Americus, Ga., and joined Central Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Gay Kiker Smith of Americus, Ga.; one son, Jack Kiker of San Francisco, Calif.; a granddaughter, Leslie Smith Reese and husband, Dean, of Leesburg; one sister, Glenice Larson Terry of Americus; a niece, Carol Kiker Townsend of Americus; and two great-grandchildren, Braden and Carley Reese of Leesburg. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Jackson Kiker Sr. in 1983. Melton, age 77, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Mr. Melton served his country in the U.S. Army in the 101st Cavalry during the Korean War. During his career, Mr. Melton had worked as a photographer for the Atomic Energy Commission, as a photographer for the ski lodge in Gatlinburg, and as a manager with Service Merchandise in the camera department. He retired from the McCrory Co. after serving as store manager in Jellico, Tenn.; Bluefield, W. Va.; and Boone and Greensboro, N.C. After his retirement he worked part time in the photo lab at the Oak Ridge Wal-Mart. His parents, Roy and Elizabeth Melton of Powell, preceded him in death. Mr. Melton is survived by his wife of 27 years, Becky. Other survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Bud Cannon of Powell; a stepdaughter and her husband, Donetta and John Harvey of Oliver Springs; granddaughters, Rebecca and Katie Harvey of Oliver Springs, who were the apple of his eye; sisters-in-law, Betty Price and Punkin Raby of Oliver Springs; nieces and nephews, Sherry Cannon of Powell, Chris and Corey Raby of Oliver Springs, and Jeff and Jeniffer Rowe of Franklin. His brothers-in-law, Bobby Price and Eddie Raby of Oliver Springs, were his golf and fishing buddies. Mr. Melton enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing and attending senior citizens functions at his church, Beech Part Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Kelty Lynn Nation, infant daughter of Michael Allen Nation Sr. and Karen Lee Dabney Nation, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Kelty was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Glenn Dabney. In addition to her parents, Kelty Lynn is survived by a sister, Caitlin Nation; two brothers, Michael Allen Nation Jr., and Brandon Nation; her maternal grandmother, Mary Dabney of Clinton; her maternal great-grandmother, Catherine Sharp of Clinton; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Nation of Oliver Springs; and by her maternal grandfather and his wife, Roy and Ruby Nation of Oliver Springs. Online register book available at www.sharpfh.com. Robert Francis Pigeon, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2007. He was born on Sept. 29, 1934, in Oconto, Wis., and was raised in Ontonagon, Mich. He was the son of the late Francis C. and Ilse E. (Schluenz) Pigeon. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He took academic degrees at Gogebic Community College, Ironwood, Mich.; Stephen F. Austin University, Nacogdoches, Texas; and Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas. He joined the Atomic Energy Commission in August 1961 and worked with the Technical Information Group in Washington, D.C., and then OSTI in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Afte r retiring in May 1982, he worked as a consulting nuclear licensing engineer at several nuclear stations in Arizona, Missouri, New York, Illinois, Tennessee and South Carolina. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, the Pellissippi Genealogical and Historical Society and the National Rifle Association. He is survived by Peggy, his wife of 24 years; by daughters, Elizabeth M. Morgan and husband, Darren, of Walkersville, Md., Shannon B. O'Grady and husband, Patrick, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Heather F. White and husband, William, of Smyrna, Tenn.; grandchildren, Elisa Kathleen Michel Bowling of Lubbock, Texas, and Jeffrey Clay Bowling Jr. of Brownwood, Texas; stepchildren, Kimberly A. Hatfield and husband, Steve, of Lewis Center, Ohio, Ruby D. Faulkner of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Samuel D. He was born Dec. 29, 1932, in Middletown, Ohio, the son of James Robert Weir Sr., and Kathleen Lawson Weir. He is survived by five sons, James Robert III, David Jeffrey, Joseph Todd, Patrick Allen and Scott Anthony, who love and miss him. He is also survived by two sisters, Judy Weir Goode and Kathy Weir Dickey. Mr. Weir worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for 39 years until his retirement in 1994. The last 20 years, he served as associate director and director of the Metals and Ceramics Division. During his tenure, he was the recipient of the E. O. Lawrence Award. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1955 in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his master's from the University of Tennessee in 1962. Mr. Weir was an avid sailor for 40-plus years. He was a member and past Commodore of the Concord Yacht Club and successfully competed in numerous regattas in many classes of boats throughout the southeast region. He was also instrumental in the early development of the sailing education programs at the Club. Mr. Weir enjoyed acting with the Oak Ridge Community Playhouse and he was an avid singer with barbershop quartets in younger years. In keeping with Mr. Weir's wishes, he was cremated. Ronald "Ron" White, age 60, of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton and was a car salesman in the Oak Ridge and Knoxville area for over 35 years. Ron is preceded in death by father, E.P. "Red" White, and sister, Norma Gail White. He is survived by his wife, Judi White of Oak Ridge; his mother, Jean White of Oak Ridge; his daughter, Shannon Wilson and husband, Patrick, of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Max and Ada Mae Wilson of Knoxville; his sister, Regina Farley of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and a nephew, Brad Farley of San Diego, Calif. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with the funeral following in the chapel with Rev. Larry Overton Jr. officiating.
