He was born May 29, 1923 to John R. and Addie McCartt Davis. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. He was preceded in death by parents, brothers; John, Reed, Vaughn, Reuben, and Sheryl Davis. Sister: Betty Davis. He was a member of Piney Baptist Church and a past master of Emerald Lodge #377 at Wartburg and a member of the Scottish Rite. Steve was an avid fisherman and coon hunter and loved everybody. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Steve Dicken, Ann Headrick and Will and Myra Norris, nephew; Nathan Kerna and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Dicken is survived by son; Tom Dicken and wife Michelle of Richmond, Kentucky. Parents; Tom and Rosie Dicken of Oakdale. Sister; Cindy Kerna of Cookeville.
