He was born May 29, 1923 to John R. and Addie McCartt Davis. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. He was preceded in death by parents, brothers; John, Reed, Vaughn, Reuben, and Sheryl Davis. Sister: Betty Davis. He is survived by wife; Mary Davis; Son; Dennis Davis; Brothers; Crave and Bill Davis, sister Lois Heidel. Step-sons; Rusty Bowlin and Clay Donahue; Step-daughters; Gail Kennedy and Anita Crumrin, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Friday July 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Sunbright Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Hamby officiating. CHRISTOPHER STEVEN (STEVE), age 45 of Oakdale, passed away July 11, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born September 7, 1961. He was a member of Piney Baptist Church and a past master of Emerald Lodge #377 at Wartburg and a member of the Scottish Rite. Steve was an avid fisherman and coon hunter and loved everybody. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Steve Dicken, Ann Headrick and Will and Myra Norris, nephew; Nathan Kerna and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Dicken is survived by son; Tom Dicken and wife Michelle of Richmond, Kentucky. Parents; Tom and Rosie Dicken of Oakdale. Sister; Cindy Kerna of Cookeville. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Friday July 13, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.
