    3. JOHNSON, MRS. NELLA "JEAN" - age 66 of Oakdale, born December 26, 1940, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at her home after suffering a battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Jean loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Piney Baptist Church. She was so loved by her community and was well known for her many years of babysitting and her love of children and cooking. She is preceded in death by: parents, Wilburn and Elsie Spurling Brown of Deer Lodge; brothers, Lawrence Brown and Leon Brown of Deer Lodge; half brothers and sisters, Ray, Roy and Amos Brown, Geraldine Brown Anderson and Gladys Brown Knepp; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred Johnson and Velma Duncan Johnson of Oakdale and Lowell Dean Johnson of Oakdale. Jean is survived by: her husband of 47 years, Morris Johnson of Oakdale; son, Tim Johnson and wife Kay of Oakdale; daughter, Tammy Johnson Smith and husband Taylor of Wartburg; grandchildren, Tyler and Cory Johnson of Oakdale, Savannah, Morgan and Marley Smith of Wartburg, Travis and wife Robyn Langley of Oakdale, Stacy Langley Ruppe and husband Matthew of Oakdale; sister, Janet Brown Wormsley and husband Willis of Deer Lodge; brothers, Lonnie Brown and wife Barbara of Oakdale, James Brown and wife Thelma of Deer Lodge, Amil Brown and wife Jeanette of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Edna Johnson of Oakdale, Marie and Bill Collier of Harriman, Linda Johnson and Frances Johnson both of Harriman; special loved ones, Greg and Phyllis Langley of Oakdale and many nieces and nephews as well as all her children she helped raise. The family will receive friends Monday July 16, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Piney Baptist Church with Rev. Pat McGee and Rev. Jim Disney officiating. Mrs. Johnson will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
