CARROLL, MR. CECIL, age 58 of Sunbright, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at his home following a lingering illness. Praying with him was his loving wife, Dorothy, and his caring friend, Kathy. Mr. Carroll enjoyed fishing and digging ginseng. Mr. Carroll was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ely and Martha Carroll; brother: Robert Carroll; and sister: Patsy Carroll. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Carroll. Nine children; Steve Carroll and wife, Tammy; Brian Carroll and wife, Amy, all of Cincinnati, OH; Rachel Bush and husband, Mark of Somerset, KY; Tonya Carroll and Heather Carroll, both of Cincinnati, OH; Dessie Lowe and Sterling Lowe, both of Oneida; Riley Lowe of Norma; and Gurtie Hembree and husband, Roger of Norma. Brothers: Bobby Carroll and wife, Fay of Harriman; Glen Carroll and wife, Helen of Devonia; and Ebert Carroll of Coalfield. Sisters: Glenna Morgan and husband, Enoch of Coalfield; Glennis Phillips and husband, J. Will of Caryville; Gladys Phillips of Cincinnati, OH; and Becky Adkins of Deer Lodge. Twenty-seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Very dear and special friends: Mike and Kathy Redmon and Marty and Pam Coleman and a special niece, Jessica. Also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends, Sunday July 1st, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be held, Monday, July 2nd at 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Otis Phillips and Rev. Don Daugherty officiating.
