MILLS, MRS. WANDA ANN - of Petros, TN, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Ridge, TN. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Shack and Myrtle Flynt; sister, Jean May; brothers, Fred Flynt and Larry Flynt. She is survived by: her husband, David G. Mills; son and daughter-in-law, David (Chris) and Brandy Mills; grandson, Walker Flynt Mills; step-grandson, Hunter Edwards. The family will receive friends Monday evening, July 9, 2007 at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg TN from 6-8:00 p.m. Services will follow with Bro. Dean Yancy officiating. The family will also receive friends Tuesday evening, July 10, 2007 at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley, TN from 5-8:00 p.m. (CST). Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Malonee officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Church cemetery, Concord, TN. She had attended Oakdale High School in Oakdale, Tennessee and was a 56 year resident of the Chattanooga area. Although she was unable to attend a local church, Mrs. Young was a deeply spiritual woman and Christian who was welcomed to eternity by her savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Hilda Robinson; daughter, Linda Matthews; sisters, Lucille Brock, Lorietta May, Ellie Faw, Myrtle Robinson & Nellie Robinson and brothers, Jimmy, John Thomas, Jesse & Ralph Robinson. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Hubert C. Young of Chattanooga, TN; son, John Thomas Young of Apison, TN; daughters, Judy Broadrick of Ringgold, GA, and Lisa Collins of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Violet Dunn of Chattanooga, TN and Helen Helton of Rossville, GA; brother, Bill Robinson of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Joey Chadwick of Ringgold, GA; Jason Matthews of Tunnel Hill, GA, Carrie Wolf, Jerry Collins, Jr. and Amanda Collins all of Chattanooga, TN, Michael, Frankie & Christopher Goss of California; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Gary Ball, Kevin Broadrick, Tracy Eaves, Ronnie Etheridge, Travis Gipson & Marvin Rutherford will serve as pallbearers.
