    3. MALENOVSKY, MRS. RHONDA SUE YOUNG, "GRAM", age 59 of Harriman, passed away Saturday November 13, 2010 at Roane Medical Center after a long battle with MS and RA. She was currently at Harriman Care and Rehab Center recovering from a hospital stay. Mrs. Malenovsky enjoyed scrap booking, making greeting cards and jewelry for family and friends, HGTV and especially doing crafts with her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oakdale. She was preceded in death by father: Herbert J. Young She is survived by her husband of 42 years: Edward Gregory Malenovsky. Son and daughter-in-law: John Gregory & Debbie Malenovsky of Hendersonville, Daughter and son-in-law: Melodie & Randy Efferson of Harriman. Five grandchildren: Bates Gregory and Spenser Jamison Malenovsky, Elizabeth Ann, Ethan Ray and Emily Grace Efferson.Her mother: Peggy N. Young of Harriman. One brother and sister-in-law: Rev. William H. and Susan Young also of Harriman. Niece and nephew: Jason and Heather Young. Longtime friends: Ronnie and Harriet Westmoreland and a host of other friends and loved ones. TThe family will receive friends Tuesday November 16, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 with Rev. Bill Young and Dr. John Powers officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM in the Palko Family Cemetery in Harriman. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.davisfuneralhomes.com [Davis Funeral Home] ------------------------ BRADEN, EDWIN C., age 74, a resident of the Mossy Grove Community in Morgan County, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his home while surrounded by his family. Mr. Braden was born on the 4th day of January, 1936 in Oliver Springs. He lived in New Carlisle, Ohio for 25 years, Fresno, CA, for 11 years, moving back to Tennessee in 1989. Ed was a retired diesel mechanic who was employed by U.P.S. and Ryder Rental Trucks before his retirement. He was a member of the International Association of Mechanics and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church. Ed had many interest including, water skiing and boating, traveling, golfing and he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Braden and Nina Jett Braden Reed, by his step-father, James A. Reed and by a brother, Harold Braden. Mr. Braden is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mozelle Oakes Braden of Mossy Grove, by a son, David Edwin Braden and wife, Wanda of Mossy Grove, by daughters; Deborah Lynn Silvey and husband, Mike of Coalfield and Diane Braden of Mossy Grove, by 5 grandchildren; Dustin Edwin C. Braden of Mossy Grove, Anthony Silvey and wife Laura of Mossy Grove, Kristina Siefker and husband, Eric of Phoenix, AZ, Matthew Silvey of Rolla, MO, and Bryan Braden and wife, Jessica of Mossy Grove and by great-grandchildren; Morgan and Thomas Silvey of Coalfield. He is also survived by sisters; Naomi Farmer of Oak Ridge, Sunnie Walls of Oak Ridge, and Lillian McKamey of the Batley Community, by sister-in-laws, Mildred Braden of Coalfield and Jessie Mae Vineyard of Mossy Grove, by a brother-in-law, Claude Oakes Jr. of Oliver Springs, by special friends; J.C. and Kay Skaggs, Mike and Donna Carroll, Dave and Pam Brents, Jerry and Doris Gillespie, Terry Urrutia, and by a host of other special friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 18, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronald Guthrie officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
