PEMBERTON, LAURA - 85 of Deer Lodge went home to be with God on November 21, following a courageous response to cancer. She was born on October 11, 1925 in Massachusetts to Joseph and Anna Belanger. She was supported and loved by the church family at St. Ann Catholic Church Lancing where she put into practice her deep faith and trust in God. Laura Pemberton was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of more than fifty years, Ralph C. Pemberton; her brothers, Oscar Belanger and Roland Belanger and his wife, Angelina; sister, Doris Foley; sister, Edna Boucher and her husband, George. She is survived by her four children: Wade Pemberton of Orlando, Florida, Lynn Ann Pemberton of Deer Lodge, Paul Pemberton and wife, Susan of Covington, Tennessee, Jane Lampley and husband, Dearl of Ethridge, Tennessee. She is also survived by her brother, Leon Belanger of Florida; brother in law, Joseph Foley of Massachusetts; and many special nieces and nephews. She was blessed with nine grandchildren who knew her love and four great grandsons. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 23, 6-8 p.m. at Shubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. The funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 24 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church Lancing on Island Ford Home Road followed by interment at Union Hill Cemetery in Sunbright.
