MORRIS, MR. DAVID, age 69 of Monteagle, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ivan and Recca Tabor Morris He is survived by son, Curtis Charles Morris and daughter, Loretta Lynn Morris, both of Iowa; sister and brother-in-law: Diana and L.E. Phillips of Oliver Springs; brother, Daniel Morris of Petros; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Adam P. Morris. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the Montgomery Cemetery, Lancing, with Bro. Johnny Bell officiating. [Schubert Funeral Home] --------------------------- VOUGHT, DUSTY "DJ", age 32, a resident of Petros, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville while surrounded by his family and Pastor, Thomas Vananda. Dusty was born on the 30th day of April, 1978 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He has lived in Petros since early childhood. Dusty graduated from the Coalfield High School in 1997. He worked in construction as a builder. He was a member of the Cove Primitive Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Dusty is survived by his parents, Gary and Mona Patrick of Petros, and Sam and Shirley Vought of Aberdeen, MD, by paternal grandfather; Charles and wife Ann Vought of Harriman, by children; Ryan Vought of Petros, Nathaniel and Jereme Vought of Mt. Juliet, TN, by a sister, Tracey Williams and husband, Tony of Petros a special nephew, T.J. Williams and a special friend, Thomas Vananda. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins' extended family members and special friends.The family will receive friends Saturday, December 18, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Elder Thomas Vananda and Dr. Jim West officiating.
