Julie, The one we found is actually before (approx. 1/4 mile) you get to the cemetery you speak about. My husband just bought a GPS for the reason of marking the grave's locations on our family tree. This will also help others find the locations of previously "hard-to-find" gravesites. Theresa Another person has suggested it might be the "Cates Cemetery". Checked cemetery book and directions show: "In Coalfield, turn off hwy 62, across from the Pac & Snak. Travel abt .6 mile to the stop sign. Go thru stop sign abt .9 mile to the house of David Adcox, third house on the right. Cemetery is abt. .2 into the woods behind the barn." Book shows about 7 or 8 markers, all date back to the early 1900's. Mostly Cates, Carr, Moore and Patterson. Could this be what you are looking for?
