DAVIS, MARIE R., age 73, of Sunbright, wife of late husband, Charles Davis, passed away in the presence of her children at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Deer Lodge. Her surviving seven children are, oldest, Ronald J. Davis and wife, Kathy Davis, of Sunbright, Edwin C. Davis and wife, Rebecca Davis, of Denver, N.C., Rose Marie Lee and husband, Bruce Lee, of Pensacola, Fla., Charles W. Davis and wife, Diana Davis, of Oak Ridge, Debra Ann Fitchpatrick and husband, David Fitchpatrick, Michael R. Davis and wife, Joann Davis, of Oliver Springs, and Joyce A. Osbourne and husband, Mickey Osbourne, of Sylacauga, Ala.; and she also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Marie had a passion making quilts and crocheting blankets for anyone who would want them. Marie will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Charles Davis, at Missionary Baptist Church in Lancing.
