Well now that I have watched the video they never mentioned Fork Mountain...It did however mention Brushy Mountain Prison and I can remember hearing the dogs howling when a prisoner would escape. Even seen some that they caught and was handcuffed to a pole with the dogs at their feet. They would have on those traditional prison suits with big black and white stripes. I also remember that the prisoners would work on the road with their feet shackled. Speaking of odd names....when we lived in Moore's Coal Camp in Devonia we lived in Skin Head Holler......Now wonder where they got that name....
