    3. SALTS, MR. JOHN H., of Sunbright went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2011. He was a member of Pilot Mtn. Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from Martin Marietta in 1992. He was also a western square dance caller for many years and his hobbies were restoring antique cars and going to car shows. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years; Clara Salts; Parents; Fred and Sarah Salts, brothers; Charles and Herley Salts. He is survived by daughter; Sharon Ashburn and husband Larry of Sunbright, Grandsons; Dustin Ashburn of Sunbright, Larry Ashburn Jr. and wife Leanna of Midtown. Great-grandchildren; Dylan, Katelyn Ashburn and Makayla Davidson. They loved their great-grandchildren so much. Brothers; Jerry Salts and wife Jaquetta, Fred Jr. and wife Patty of Nashville, TN. Sisters; Thelma Castleberry of Knoxville, TN, Josephine Templeton and husband Tommy of Cookeville, TN. Also a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening July 19, 2011 at Pilot Mtn. Missionary Baptist Church from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Charles Webb officiating. Graveside service will be held Wednesday morning July 20th, 11:00 a.m. in Sunbright Cemetery, Sunbright. Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Lots of people knew her as the Avon Lady. She sold Avon for about 25 years and made a lot of good friends. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Gladys Stonecipher. She is survived by her husband of 58 years; John H. Salts; daughter; Sharon Ashburn and husband Larry of Sunbright, Grandsons; Dustin Ashburn of Sunbright, Larry Ashburn Jr. and wife Leanna of Midtown. Great-grandchildren; Dylan, Katelyn Ashburn and Makayla Davidson. They loved their great-grandchildren so much. They were their pride and joy.
