CAGLE, MR. JAMES HOMER "JIM", age 88, of Bayside Drive, Ten Mile, TN died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at The Bridge at Rockwood. He was born December 20, 1922 in Oakdale, TN to Thomas and Bertha Kittrell Cagle. He attended Luminary United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. Mr. Cagle retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections where he was a correctional officer. He was owner of Cagle’s TV & Appliance in Harriman for 30 years and was a member of South Roane County Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola and brothers, Fred & Wilbur Cagle. Survivors include: Son: David Cagle & wife, Susan of Kingston, TN 2 Grandchildren: Alisha Michelle Puentes & husband, Robert, James David Cagle & wife, Courtney 2 Great Grandchildren: Alexandria & Abigail Cagle Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Luke Kidwell officiating. Graveside and interment will be held Wednesday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary.
