**SMITH, MRS. LELA FERREL KESTERSON, age 69 of Wartburg, went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday April 7, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Pilot Mt. Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kesterson. And three sisters: Euna, Joyce and Ella Frances.She is survived by her loving husband: Johnny Smith. Three daughters: Kathy Smith of Rockwood, Vicki Bennett and her husband Bryan of Knoxville, Sharon Rogers and her husband Doug of Elkton, MD. One son: Steve Smith of Wartburg. Seven grandchildren: Tara, Derrick, Marisa, Steven, Mara, Kenny and Taylor. One great grandson: Gage. Three sisters: Beatrice of Oneida, Jane of Harrogate and Charlotte of Pilot Mt. One brother: Joe and his wife Jewell of Crossville. And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and loving Pastor and best friends Charles and JoAnn Webb. [Davis Funeral Home] ------------- COFFEY, MS. ALLENE, age 88 of Harriman, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011 at the Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was employed at Kayser-Roth in Harriman from 1941 until 1987. After her retirement she assisted with supplying food for the Roane State BSU and was a leader in VBS each summer at her church. As an active member of Riggs Chapel Baptist Church, Allene taught Sunday School for various age groups as well as assisting with projects at a local children's home. She was preceded in death by her parents: James Lee and Clatie Morgan Coffey. Two brothers: Jack and Lowell Coffey. Two sisters: Zelma McKinney and Ruby Stegall. And three brothers-in-law: Gene Hegwood, Tommie Brown and Paul McKinney. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Lorene Brown of Decatur, GA, Violet and Bob Sloan of Livonia, MI, Helen Hegwood of Chamblee, GA, Anna and Jim Sloan of Jackson, AL. Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Thurman and Lula Coffey of Harriman and Clarence and Bonita Coffey of Crossville. Two sisters-in-law: Sue Coffey of Liberty, SC and Juanita Huskey of Powell. One brother-in-law: John Stegall of Waynesboro And several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Norma was born in the Stephens Community of Morgan County on December 16, 1942. She lived in Texas and Illinois before moving back to Tennessee in 1995. Before her retirement Norma was employed as a waitress at Shoney's in Oak Ridge for 15 years. She was saved at the Stephens Baptist Church at an early age. She was preceded in death by her parents, Miller and Cassie Carroll Jones,by brothers; Howard and Billy Ray Jones, and by sisters; Charlene and Juraleen Jones. She is survived by sons; Allen Taylor of Texas, Paul Gene Taylor of Hermitage, TN and Albert Taylor of Louisiana, by 4 grandchildren, by brothers; Donald Jones and wife, Ester of Harlingen, TX, Benny Jones and wife, Kim of Coalfield, Harold Dean Jones and wife, Cora Lou of Coalfield, Terry Jones of Stephens, and Ronnie Jones and wife, Rhonda of Wartburg, by sisters; Irene Griffin of Wartburg, Mary Shepherd and husband, Charles of Oliver Springs with whom Norma made her home, Olivia Rather and husband, Roy of Oliver Springs and Juanita Cooper of Oliver Springs. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.
