    3. Larry N. Litton LITTON, LARRY N., age 80 of Kingston passed away Sunday April 3, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center after a long illness. A decedent of two Tennessee Pioneer families. Mr. Litton was born in Morgan County but lived most of his life in Roane County. He was an amateur geologist, and was past president of the Litton Historical Society, he was a member of the committee that published the Roane County Heritage Book. In his younger years Mr. Litton was an adult leader of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was a founding member of the Three Rivers Ramblers Square Dancing Club and past president. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired from Y-12 plant Laboratory as a Principle Technologists. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Kingston. Preceded in death by parents Alma and Ella Litton, mother of his children Glenna Sexton Litton, son Dallas Litton, brothers Freeman and Douglas Eugene Litton, sisters Mary M. Jonas, Lydia Hurst and Carol Taylor. Survivors include: Wife Caron W. Litton of Kingston; Daughter Rose Marie Litton of Rockwood; Son and daughter in law Blaine M. and Gloria Litton of Kingston. Funeral 8pm Thursday April 7, 2011 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Gary Rolen officiating. Burial 10am Friday at Willard Park Cemetery with Military Honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Thursday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. [Kyker Funeral Home] ----------------------
