EBLE, MRS. DORIS ANN (ARP) - age 81 of Oakdale, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. She was a member of Piney Baptist Church, where she previously served as church clerk for over 20 years. She was an avid believer and participant in the women's mission organization and served as secretary. She was known for her desserts, prepared at home in her "Kountry Kitchen" and her golden punch at weddings and showers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Walter Arlo Eble; daughter, Susan Ann Eble; parents: Frank and Anna Arp; brother, Frank Arp, Jr.; and sister, Margaret Reece. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Melinda and Jeff Harwood; and granddaughter, Megan Ann Scott. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8th, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Piney Church Cemetery, Oakdale.
