    3. PRICE, REV. JAMES, age 87 of Petros, went to be with the Lord March 22, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. He was a veteran of WWII and was pastor many churches in the county over the years. He was preceded in death by wife, Helen Duncan Price, parents, Tom and Icy Price, Brothers, Eugene, Reed and Ted, sisters, Ophelia Arnold, Dodie Cooper, Edna Thomas and Mamie Phillips and daughter, Patsy Morgan. He is survived by; Son; James Owen Price of Watertown, TN, Daughter; Barbara and C.B. Phillips of , Oliver Springs, Peggy and Joe Knight of Wartburg, Janet and Johnny Cross of Coalfield, Phyllis and Bobby Abshire of Petros, Buffie and Eddie McKeehan of Wartburg. Grandchildren; Gary Phillips, Stacy Rhodan, Heather Adkisson, Nicole Rogers, Priscilla Kizzar, Brad Adkisson, Leslie Patterson, Patty and Heidi Morgan, James Morgan. Great-grandchildren; Ashley, Samantha and Kayla Phillips, Tempa, Anna and Michael Francis, Allison Adkisson, Chrissy Bray, Lily and Emily Patterson, Kimberly and Eric Crabtree, Miranda McKeehan, Amanda, Michael, Jonathan and Patrick Parimann, Jesse and Dillon Peterson. Great-great-granddaughter; Naomi Davis and Makaylia Adkisson Sister, Dallas Burgess of Clinton. Also many loving and caring nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M. [Schubert Funeral Home] --------------- BARGER, TOM B., 72, a resident of Harriman, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Mr. Barger was born October 19, 1938 in Wartburg. His family moved to Roane County and following his high school graduation from Harriman High School, class of 1956, he entered into the United States Marine Corp. While enlisted he served his country in the Marine Corp Flag Corp and Honor Guard at both the Arlington National Cemetery and the United States Capitol in Washington, DC. Following his military discharge he enrolled at Carson Newman College and received his degree. He later entered into Pharmacy School at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and following his graduation he was employed as a pharmacist in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas moving back to Tennessee in 1992 and retiring from CVS Pharmacy. Tom was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, a caring, considerate and compassionate man who would help anyone he found in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Daisy Hembree Barger, by a son, Galen Barger, by brothers; Sam and C.R. Barger, by a sister-in-law, Mary Barger, who affectionately called him "Brother", and by a special friend, Betty Hendrickson. He is survived by a niece, Teina Ingram and husband, Eddie, by nephews, Rickey Barger and wife, Joyce, Mickey Barger and wife, Pat, David Barger and Terry Barger all of Harriman, by 27 great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family members and special friends including his caregiver, Patsy Clawson. The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2011 between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve McDonald officiating. Burial and graveside services with full military honors will follow at Roane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Prime Timers, 151 Edwards Road, Harriman, TN 37748.
