CRASS, MR. DEAN HOYT, age 77, went home to Heaven, to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 3, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 26, 1933. He was a graduate of South Harriman High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Y-12 at Oak Ridge after 35 years of service and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at Oliver Springs. He was the son of Elmer and Lola Davis Crass. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Kamer Crass; two daughters and sons-in-law: Tracy and Tom Miller of Clinton and Barbara and Robert Barber; four grandchildren: Camryn and Caleb Miller and Dylan and Dakota Barber; brother and sister-in-law: Benny and Patsy Crass; brothers-in-law: C.T. Johnson, Dan Stewart, and Charles Massey; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 5th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 6th, at 1:30 p.m. in the Pine Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale. DAVID HAROLD, age 80 and a resident of Texas for the past 7 years, passed away at the Valley Baptist Medical Center on February 23, 2011 in Harlingen, TX after a battle with cancer. Funeral services for Mr. Haun will be Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery in Pegram, TN. The family will visit with friends at 9:00 AM until the service time. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the services. A native of Lancing, TN; Mr. Haun was the son of the late Elsie Kate Dodson Williams and the late Clyde Aubney Haun. He was of the Baptist faith, and a 32 degree Mason at the Centerville, KY Lodge. Mr. Haun was a retired pipefitter and welder. He was a veteran from the Korean War with the United States Army. He is survived by his three sons; David Riley Haun, Allen Clyde Haun, both of Columbia, and Kerry Wayne Haun of Tallahassee, FL; two daughters; Robin Lynn (Tim) Bruce of Estill Springs, TN, and daughter Shirley Hirano of Japan, four brothers, Charles, Paul, Riley,& Lowell Williams, three sisters, Connie Nabors, Lucille Barun,& Leo Smith, 13 grandchildren; Brad Hurley, Destynee Hurley, Axl Hurley, Kristin Haun, Wraith Haun, Karen Haun, Anthony Haun, Colton Haun, Morgan Bruce, Matt Bruce, Yuusuke Hirano, Kenji Hirano, and Masumi Kersey; 7 great grand-children, Kai Miller, Peyton Davis, Nevaeh Davis, Collin Hurley, Yuugo Hirano, Haruka Hirano and Himari Hirano. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Davis Williams, and two sisters, Helen Goscinski and Reba Carnine. Pallbearers will be Brad Hurley, Wraith Haun, Tim Bruce, Bryan Davis, Paul Williams and Charles Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Riley Williams, Anthony Haun and Colton Haun.
