POLAND, RUBY JANE ALLEY - went to be with her Lord on January 2, 2011 at age 98 and 5 months. She was born August 1, 1912 to Bill and Myrtle Alley of Morgan County. She was one of the oldest members of South Harriman Baptist Church. Ruby spent her married life taking good care of her husband and her children. She loved all children and all children she met loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Poland, her parents, one infant child, Joyce Gayle Poland and one brother, Dave Alley. Survivors: daughter & son in law, Peggy & Ira Truxell; son & daughter in law, Arlan & Lucille Poland; daughter & son in law Wanda & Leon Lowery; daughter & son in law, Vickie & Cecil Jenkins; grandchildren, Stephanie Dolsen, Lori Thompson, Amanda Futrell, Jeff Poland, Jana Poland, Cheryl Tapp, Richard Lowery, Shanda Martin, Brian Jenkins; 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by; parents, John and Laura Lumpkins, husband, Johnnie T, LaRue, brothers, Hugh Lumpkins of LaFollette and Dempsey Lumpkins of Oregon.
