    1. Re: [TNMORGAN] BROWN, James R. and William Taylor BROWN
    2. Hi! Thanks so much for your response! My James R. Brown was born in 1819 in TN and died in 1897 in Morgan County, TN. His children were William Taylor Brown, born in 1848, Emelia Ann (b.1850), Minerva C. (b. 1854), John R. (born in 1857). James R. Brown's wife was supposedly full blood Cherokee, named Louisa J. C. Brown. I have looked on Brown clearinghouse and left messages, but so far no luck!!! Any matched to your data??? James R. Brown's parents were both born in Virginia, according to one census record. Thanks for taking the time to answer! Sincerely, Becky McEntire
