    3. Cathy, Mary Jones was married to John M Webb but wasn't the mother of the boys. Preston & David were from his marriage to Mary Fritts. I haven't been able to find out what happen to Mary Fritts Webb but John married Mary Jones in 1880. Preston Foster Webb is my husband's grandfather. Also not sure when John M died or where he is buried. Preston Foster Webb is buried in Elizabeth cemetery but his birthdate on the stone there is wrong. It has him born in 1865 and he was born in 1873 like you said. Have you found any more on the Walker -Voiles line? I still haven't gotten any further on it but I'm almost sure that Penelope Viles Kirby is Nancy's mother. Nancy was born before her marriage to Pleasant Kirby. 3. PROUD WIFE OF TENNESSEE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD SGT. CURRENTLY ON TRAIN UP FOR DEPLOYMENT FOR KOSOVO. Ji Julie and Edna, I can add a little more to the information on Lewis and Ruby's children. John M. that was born 1834 married Mary Jones. She was born 1853. They had two children that I know of: 1. Preston born 1873 2. David born 1876 One more child to add to the list of John and Louisa McCartt Webb.According to statements given by Preston McCartt and Lewis Webb on Louisa's pension application there was another son:Rufus born 17 Mar 1852. That's all for now I think. Cathy

    3. I am thinking that Ruby J. is the mother of James M. McCoy after reading the 1920 Census. It just says Mother not M-I-L for Mother in Law. I will recheck my 1910 and the other marriage I mentioned of Preston McCartt's daughter Julia A. to A.J. McCOY. abt. 1874. They only had Rose, Phoebe, Persable McCOY. I will see what else I can find concerning Ruby's daughter's children. I have no idea who she is really. UNless she is the Mother of these children. 3. Julie, In checking Family Search I came across something you might want to check out. It was on Ruby McCartt Webb, but it might lead to what you are looking for. Her information was sent in by Katherine Webb, 1035 Glades Rd., Sunbright, Tennessee. Ruby was daughter of Robert McCartt and Hannah Peters as Edna said. She died Nov. 1895. All I could find on Parthena was that she was the daughter of Ruby and Lewis Webb and married James Cromwell 1 Oct 1876 in Morgan County. Some of the source information shows to be on the discs I have already ordered, so maybe something will come of that. I hope to get the discs by the first of the year. If there is a Katherine Webb (or any Webb) at this address, would it be long distance for you to call?
