I was around 7 yrs old. Danner is somewhere around my age. I had the german measles. My mother had me in a very dark room. Someone came and knocked on the door. Mother told me to stay in bed. Being the unobedient child I was <G> I followed her to the door. As she was explaining why she couldn't go to church, I sneaked and got Danner...and was running through the house with him...You should have seen my mother and Mr Stewart trying to catch us......Wonder if her ever got the measles <G>? Ray had many brothers and sisters -- Eddie, Johnny, Debbie, Kathy, Dennis and Billie Carol (who died in infancy). He fathered three children -- Phillip, Kenny and Jason. Ray had many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and one grandson. His Uncle Danner Stewart was really special to Ray. Ray has numerous cousins and friends and graduated from Coalfield High School where he played football. He was living in Las Vegas at the time of his death. A most endearing quality of Ray's character was his ability to make friends and enjoy life. He was a 32nd degree mason.
