She was born in New Miami on March 20, 1939, the daughter of Henry and Anita (Kline) Roysden. Pauline was a very active member of the Richmond Road Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post #2 Auxiliary and was employed as a bookkeeper for the YMCA for 10 years, retiring in 1998. On October 27, 1962, in Hamilton, OH, she was married to Ralph Heatherly and he preceded her in death in 1997. Survivors include her son, Lee and his wife Rene Vanderpool of Seven Mile; daughter, Regina (Heatherly) Gleason of Troy, OH; brothers, James Curtis of Kentucky and Michael (Sandra) Roysden of Jamestown, Tennessee; three sisters, Shirley Spahn of Hamilton, Wilma Kinser of Harriman, Tennessee formerly of Oxford, and Tarri (Roger) Hamby of Wartburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Megan Heatherly, very devoted to her MeMaw, and Ginny Vanderpool. She was the grandmother of Curtis Miller and wife, Donna; the great-grandmother of Andrew Miller and Natasha Wright and husband, Edward; and the great-great-grandmother of Kyle Wright. Born March 12, 1908, in Laporte, Minn., she was the daughter of Adolf and Agnes Pederson. While attending LaPorte Minnesota High School, Mrs. Clark was active in the 4-H club. She was the 4-H Minnesota State Champion Bread Baker and traveled to Chicago, Ill., to compete nationally. She traveled to Washington, D.C., as a 4-H Junior Leader, where she met and had tea in the blue room with Lou Hoover. She remained active as a 4-H adult leader while raising her children. Mrs. Clark attended Walker Normal Teacher Training School and earned a teacher's certification. She taught school in Benedict, Minn. She married Harold Andrew Clark on May 18, 1930. The couple owned and operated the Kabekona Valley Store, in Kabekona, Minn., until her husband died in January of 1965. She continued running the store until her retirement in 1977. According to her family, Mrs. Clark remained very active after her retirement traveling across the country visiting with her children and grandchildren, baking, knitting, reading, taking care of them when they were ill and blessing them with love and great hugs. Her family said she will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she touched. Her son-in-law, Thomas Leyendecker, and a grandson, also died earlier. In addition to her grandchildren, Mrs. Clark is survived by five children, Maxine Leyendecker of Independence, Dorothy Miller and husband, Robert, of Coos Bay, Ore., Haroldine Miller and husband, Jack, of Nashville, Lyle Clark and wife, Kathy, of Independence, and Almond Clark and wife, Shalyn, of Arlington, Texas; and by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. His family said he was an avid fisherman and turkey hunter, and enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ethelene Copeland Craft, on March 22, 1995. He was born April 22, 1939, in Sofia, Bulgaria. He was a former professional hockey player, and was a master carpenter for 30 years. His family said above all he was a father and grandfather. According to his family, Mr. Kostadinov raised his daughter as a single father and loved his family fiercely. He was also helping raise his grandchildren. Morris Phillips, 83, of Norris, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Mariner Health of Norris. Born April 20, 1920, in Inman, Va., he was the son of the Rev. Charles Frank and Lillie Huff Phillips. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Coast Guard in the Pacific theater. Mr. Phillips came to Oak Ridge in 1946 and began work as a guard with the Atomic Energy Commission. He later worked as a construction electrician for Martin Marietta Energy Systems and retired March 31, 1986 after 20 years of service. His hobby was being a ham radio operator. In addition to his arents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Miller and Grace Vaughn. Born Aug. 23, 1931, in Wallins Creek, Ky., he was the son of Charlie H. and Myrtle M. Gunter Willoughby. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Willoughby retired from the Clinton School System, where he was a teacher at Clinton High School. While there, he also served as the golf coach and the distributive education coordinator. Before coming to Clinton High School, he also taught for many years at LaFollette High School. He was a member of the Tennessee Teachers Retirement Association and served on the Oak Ridge City Council in 1986 and 1987. He was a Tennessee Colonel and a member of the American Legion No. 58 in LaFollette. Mr. Willoughby was a licensed pilot and his family said he enjoyed flying and playing golf. He was a Baptist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Willoughby; his father-in-law, Elmer C. Lane Sr.; and by a sister-in-law, Lorna Lane Oerther. Mr. Willoughby is survived by his wife, Sandra K. She had a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and a Master of Science degree in school counseling from the University of Tennessee. She was married to the late Hoyt Morton. >From the Oak Ridger 21 Jan 2004 Gaynor L. Gosa, 88, Etta Patrick, 65, of Wartburg, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Gaynor L. Gosa, 88, died Jan. 11, 2004, in Wetumpka, Ala. He was a retired chief warrant officer in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Gosa is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn; and by his son and three grandchildren. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Franklin, of Oak Ridge; and by a brother-in-law in Wetumpka. A graveside service was Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, in Wetumpka. Ellison Funeral Home in Wetumpka was in charge of arrangements. Etta Patrick, 65, of Wartburg, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Dora Armes, and by a sister, Hazel Brown, and a brother, V.D. Armes. Mrs. Patrick is survived by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Patrick; her daughter, Renee Jones and husband, Marvin, of Texas; two grandchildren, Robert Jones and Meaghan Jones, both of Texas; two sisters, Betty Tucker and Peggy Liles, both of Wartburg; two brothers, Archie Armes and wife, Dorothy, of Devonia and Arnold Armes and wife, Mildred, of Lancing; and by several nieces, nephews and friends. Her family said she was loved by many. The funeral was Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with Gary Armes officiating.
