Thanks for all the replies to the Burrville area of Morgan County. I should be able to find the cemetery. Thanks, Bobie ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
The Burrville Road is a two-lane paved road, but it is curvy. Be careful as you drive. It's beautiful country. The cemetery at Pleasant Ridge is quite large; I was amazed when I visited it about two years ago. I have family buried there on my mother's side of the family (Walker). I hadn't been to that area in over 50 years. Some places were but a faint memory. I used my road map and all be it faint memory. Found almost every place I was looking for. Bobbie, I'm not sure if it is the church and cemetery you are looking for, but from Hwy 27 you would turn onto what has always been known as the Burriville Road. Burriville is roughly 6 miles out that road. There is a church that sits on the right hand side of the road and the cemetery runs beside and behind the church. Also, not sure what families you might be looking for, but before you get to Burriville (about 4 miles out the road from Hwy 27) is a small community called Pleasant Ridge. Pleasant Ridge Community Church sits on the right and there is a cemetery behind the church. There are no signs for the community, so you would just have to watch for the church. Hope this helps.
