    2. Marilyn Morris
    3. My name may be confusing. Marilyn Sue Peters Burgess Griffith Morris is my name. My mother was Helen Lucille Peters Burgess Griffith. My biological father is apparently unknown. Mother taught 4th grade in Coalfield in maybe late 20-30's. She also taught in schools near Burrville and Oakdale. Peters from grandparents: Timothy Victor Hugo and Alleyna Talley Peters. Timothy was a Methodist minister in the Holtston conference, serving in Clinton, Oakdale, Oneida, Burrville. Maybe others in TN. He also served several churches in TN. They were very involved in my early days. Hallo Burgess: A man my mother married for three weeks in an attempt to give a name to her illegitimate daughter, yet to be born. His name is on my birth certificate. Bill (William, Jr.) Griffith: A man my mother married when I was about 3. His name is on all of my legal records up to my marriage, even though there was no adoption. His dad was William Eugene Griffith of Coalfield. His brother, Russell Griffith lives in Coalfield today. Nathan Stonechipher a brother -in-law of the senior Mr. Griffith was postmaster at Coalfield for a while. His wife, Molly Russell, was a sister to the senior Mr. Griffith's wife, Jennie Russell. His grandson, Nathan, and I had a time to talk and remember old times last summer. It was good. Others connected to my family with Morgan county connections, include Charles and Winnie Human and their daughter Charlotte Human Fox lived in Wartburg. Charles was a prinicpal of the highschool. Winnie worded at the draft office, Department of Human Services and finally at Oak Ridge. Burrville: George and Pat Mc Grath and their children/grandchildren (Pat actually grew up in Wartbug). I went to school in Oliver Springs when I was in the eighth grade. Played a little basketball, pretty poor. I hope we do know each other, but any way, we can share info.
