He has passed away now and no one in his family could tell me who his sources were. If it is the first settlers of CLARKSVILLE that is wished, then check Ursula Beach's "Along the Warioto", a History of Montgomery County, TN (1964). It is the primary source for such information; and also gives much county information as well. Cleo.
