Roxie, My grandfather was Sterling DILL b. 1888 in Montgomery Co., TN his parents were Udora (Dora) GIBBS b. 1870 (sister of Alice) & Robert DILL b. 1865 TN. Would love to share info with you. Please e-mail me mmacken@comcast.net Millie Millie, My great grandmother was Alice Gibbs. She married Lawson Sanford. They married in 1871 in Montgomery County. Lawson Sanford was living two households from Thomas Gibbs in the 1870 census so I believe this is the Alice Gibbs that he married. I lost Alice and Lawson after the 1970 census and have never been able to locate them in any other census after 1870. Roxie
