Hello this is my first post to the list. 30 years ago I visited Palmyra with my friend Ramona and her parents Mr. & Mrs. Hadley. We visited a place where there were statues made from concrete. They were painted and there were people and animals. I do have a scan of some of them if anyone is interested. Do any of you know anything about these statues? Who made them? Are they still there? Many of them have been destroyed, a few are still there (although seriously damaged), and a few were saved (I think by Austin Peay State University). They were made by E. T. Wickham. There's a really nice webpage made by his grandson with information about him and the statues at: http://www2.vscc.cc.tn.us/jschibig/images/a_tribute_to_my_grandfather.htm My father's wife is related this family. _\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_ | Roger L.
