Now I was doing just fine until you mentioned that S---- word!<LOL> There is a great reading room at the Mont. Co. library for the kids. It is in an enclosed room, separate from the main library and looks like it has lots of goodies in it for kids (I just looked in). As for the Archives, nada. Have you thought about hiring a "Nanny" while you are in Clarksville if you are talking about young children? I'm sure someone on this list knows someone who would be willing to go with you and your children to the library (for a nominal fee) while you research. Especially now that it is nearing Summer and the high school kids will be out of school. You could also call the HS counselor and see if he/she could recommend someone. You could discuss with the "Nanny" which activities you'd like your children to do. Have fun in the library as it is really a good one and Jill Hastings-Johnson, County Archivist, at the archives is a rare gem!
