My grandmother and her 5 sisters (& one brother who died young) were all Whitfields. She was the youngest and named Willa. I think the oldest, Bessie B. Whitfield was born around 1887/88. I know that Will'a ashes were scattered near the family farm. I'm not sure where the other sisters were buried as they all moved away and married. i believe 2 may have been returned for burial as one, Armolia Ervin nee Whitfield, held the deeds to the plot. Could you kindly point me in the right direction for finding more details. Many Thanks Shelley Blake

    3. I am a descendent of the Whitfields that were in Montgomery Co. I have the family you list in my data base, what other info do you need? My cousin still lives on the farm in Montgomery Co. where our family has been for 7 generations, if I remember correctly, 2 generations before the Civil War. A Wimberly built the house, and the next generation was Killebrew, and Killebrew till my aunt (Silvey) and my cousin and his son (Silvey).
