I am not sure if he was literate because one time he signed with an `X' and the next time he did not. He was big on estate sales (aren't we all) and you can tell a lot about a person by what he buys at estate sales...... 1818 He bought (?) at the estate sale for Martin Garrett, deceased. 1820 He posted a $150 bond to be the administrator of the estate of Jane Allcock. 1820 He did an inventory of the estate of Jane Allcock. 1820 He had an estate sale for Jane Allcock's estate. He bought a chamber pot for $1.00 and a lot of cabbage for $.25. {Hope he had a window}. 1822 He settled her estate, collected all her debts (except one), paid all her bills and made the division to all her heirs. He was unable to collect $3.79 debt from a John Heart. Anybody know of a Drury/Drewry HARRISON???? jerree --AAE26791.1043130534/imo-m05.mx.aol.com-- --part1_7b.7c37d4c.2b5ef24a_boundary--
