It has been a while since I have posted this. Looking for any connection to the Green(e) family living on Indian Creek or around Marion in Montgomery Co. as well as the Marlow family. Great great grandparents were James M. Greene (born about 1835) and Louisa Marlowe Greene born 1838. Louisa was daughter of David Marlowe of Camden Co., MO (Marlowes later relocated to Montgomery Co.). Both supposed to be buried in Abernathy Cemetery in Marion but graves not located. James and Louisa returned to Indian Creek sometime before mid 1800's from Indian Territory in Oklahoma according to dau-in-law. Children were: Robert, Evelyn, Viola, Martha Ellen (born 1868; married Robert Leonard Bailey; both buried in Marion Cemetery), James Thomas (born 1871; married Laura Metcalf; he is buried in Marion Cemetery), Nancy C. (born about 1857) and Laura (born abt. 1858). Probable Cherokee roots with Greenes and Marlowes. ANY census records, marriage or death records, etc. would be much appreciated. jan
