Jeree, My notes (which I have not attempted to verify) give Stephen Neblett's father as John Neblett 1755-1830 who married Susannah Hightower 1757-1836. The parents of John Neblett are Francis and Elizabeth Sterling Neblett. Stephen Neblett appears to be a brother to William Jackson Neblett 1785-1850 ) who is the father of my interest Susan Neblett (1810-1845) who married a Dudley. This William Neblett is buried beside his daughter in the Dudley Cemetery in the vicinity of St. Bethlehem which is north of Clarksville. This was District #6. It appears that William Jackson Neblett also had a son named William L. Buchanan Neblett (1819-1870) who married 1. Knott and 2. Randolph. Appears he died in Obion Co. TN.
