This post isn't exactly 'genealogy' but will someday be local history---- Clarksville National Girls Softball League 12-year-olds girls just won the District 9 Championship and are headed to the State Tournaments! (They were undefeated in district play) Now---if you want genealogy----my granddaughter plays on this team---BOTH of her lines were here in Montgomery County in the late 1700s-early 1800s. Paternal lines include Menees, Gregory, Kennedy while maternal lines include Ellis, Sheppard/Shepherd (two different lines), Baggett, Bartee, Graham, Hays----lots of other surnames but I won't go into them unless someone asks. Sandy, Congratulations to the Clarksville National Girls Softball League, your granddaughter, and you. There's nothing like "living" genealogy. Barbara
