Sandra: They are having a girls softball series here at PC Beach, Fl this week. I don't suppose your grandaughter is playing in it? I think they are calling it a "world series" so hopefully she makes it next time. I wish all of the good luck. Jo-- Brittany's team is going to State competition Saturday. The team that wins State goes on to Georgia for Regional play. Different leagues play by different rules and have different sanctioning bodies---and different schedules. These girls haven't made it to "world series"----yet! By the way---your name sounds familiar. My name is Sandra Jo. I was named for Joe and Sandra Anderson. When I was born, my Dad worked for Cunningham & Anderson----John Talley Cunningham and Joe Anderson. Joe's wife (Sandra) was a nurse at the local health department. Joe was Daddy's friend and mentor so I guess it was only natural that he name me after them. (See---I still got a little 'genealogy/history' in this message!) Sandy Ellis
