    3. Hi Folks, There is a little known resource (at least it was to me) that some of our public libraries have which will allow you to access the Heritage Quest On-line site. In Texas, if your library does subscribe to the HQ On-line it is possible that they will provide you with a user name and a password that you can use at home on your computer. Not all of our libraries have this service but a surprising number of them do. As far as I know, it only applies to the Census records that HQ has available and some "source" books. Call your local library and see if they have this service available. There is no time limit on the service---at least so far. I think this is made available to Texas libraries through our State Library and then the service is passed on to us. We have to have a library card but that is all. If your library does not already subscribe to HQ perhaps you can suggest that they start. If you find that you have this service and want to use it, I have several little "tricks" for viewing and printing the Census Records that I will be glad to share with you if you'll contact me off the list. I may be able to save you some paper and ink when printing the Censuses out for your records. Jean Hancock in TX
