    3. My brother stated that there were several other unmarked graves at the site, so that would explain these additional names. The previous owner told him there was another graveyard on the property that he has not yet located. It does not have headstones, only piled rocks. The previous owner believed these unmarked graves to be those of slaves or former slaves. I haven't seen the headstones yet, but my brother said they were in good shape and very legible. A check of the 1870 census revealed that Henry Northington did indeed have several black servants living with him, probably former slaves since they had the last name of Northington as well. Like I said, these are not family members of mine. I was just posting the information in case this was a "lost" cemetery and someone was looking for it. Tammy I'm curious about the "important" headstone, too, Cleo.
