While researching at the Eastern Tennessee Historical Society I discovered the following obituary: YARBROUGH, no name. Died 20 Nov. 1857, while cooking breakfast. Lived in Montgomery County, TN. Husband is deceased. "Clarksville Weekly Chronicle. (27 Nov. 1857 p.3)" This was Mary "Polly" Vaughn, daughter of John Powell Vaughn, Sr. She was born in 1806 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and married John P. Yarbrough in 1825. "Polly" was sister to John Powell Jr., Michael, Abner, and Susan (my gggrandmother). If anyone can add anything further I would be happy to hear from them. Alice in Arizona
