Cleo, The Waller line you mention is mine. John Waller(1701-1776) and wife Agnes Carr are ancestors of the Thomas Carr Waller in Todd Co. Martha, wife of the Todd Co. T. C. Waller, is descended from Edmund Waller (c1718-1771) a brother to her husband's ancestor. The father of John & Edmund Waller was John Waller died 1754, built Endfield in King William Co., Newport in Spotsylvania Co. and was first county clerk of Spotsylvania Co. VA. I will be happy to share any documentation, but I am just reaching the documentation stage on the Wallers who remained in VA. I have been acquiring info and am now ready to check the said to be's. There does not seem to be much disagreement on my two lines so I don't expect too many surprises. My main obstacle has been documenting Martha's father Aylett. While it does not qualify as primary material, one of the descendants of the Todd County Wallers sent me a transcription of a family record which the family brought with them to Todd Co. in 1832. The transcription begins with a listing of Minor family: "Thomas Minor, son of John and Sarah, was born August 5, 1740 and departed this life February the 15, 1816-Aged 75 years 6 months and 10 days. Mary Dabney, daughter of John and Ann Dabney, was born September the 14, 1742. And was married to Thomas Minor the 10 of March 1763. And departed this life Oct the 31, 1818. Aged 76 years one month and a half. Sarah Carr Minor, daughter of Thomas and Mary, was born December the 28, 1763. She died the 28 September 1782. Aged 19 years. William Minor, son of Thomas & Mary was born April the 19, 1766. And departed this life the 15 of October 1794. Aged 28 years. Elizabeth Minor, daughter of D.D. was born September the 26, 1768 and departed this life January 7, 1832. Age 63 years 4 months & 11 days. John? Minor, son of D.D. was born July the 28, 1771 and departed this life September the 20, 1802. Aged 31 years 1 month and 23 days. Thomas? Minor, son of D.D. was born April the 10, 1774. Mary? Minor, daughter of D. D. was born April the 4, 1778 and departed this life the June 24, 1802. Aged 24 years 2 months and 20 days. Sarah Minor Woolfath, daughter of Joseph & Sarah Carr Woolfath, was born September the 28, 1782. Then the Waller listing begins. The first Waller couple listed is Thomas Waller b 1732-1787) who married Sarah Dabney (1740-1822). Their son Dabney Waller b. 1772 married Elizabeth Minor b. 1768. Let me know if you want the Waller info. For the location of the original, please send me a private email. A more recent Waller & Carr connection: Ashton Sites Waller and Nell Curtis Carr. I am working on the various Binkley families, some of whom > descend from RW soldier Reuben Holt (1755-18__) of Montgomery County. > Also, I am working on the ancestors of Montgomery County's first County > Judge, Thomas W.
