I am looking for information on JOHN HOWELL ADKINS (b. 1805 in Halifax Co., NC - d. 5/25/1887 in Montgomery Co., TN). He was a merchant/postmaster at Somerset, near Henrietta, Montgomery Co. for more than 40 years. John married three times to: (1) MARY BROWN, (2) SARAH ANN DENNY (b. ca. 1829), (3) PRUSSIA ANN DENNY (b.ca. 1837). Does anyone know what the marriage dates are???
