Dear Dana and Debbie, I have been trying to compile all the Davis' in Montgomery Co. before 1850 from Marriage records, death records, Obits, and census records. My goal is to find the parents of David Davis b. 1770's. A cousin has paid thousands of dollars on 3 different Professional genealogists in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia with no Luck. I can't help but think some of the Davis'in and around Montgomery Co. at that time may have had a connection with him therefore I am looking into all the Early Davis'. I would like to find the parents of Henry Jefferson DAvis, Elijah Davis and David Davis. (and many others that were in Clarksville) Debbie
