Try looking in the Henrico County area of VA. I have a Woodson family from shortly before that time period that married into my Sampson family. My Sampson family moved from VA into the Smith County, TN area so they may be part of the same group. Its not much, but it may give you a place to look. Once you get the Woodson's back into Henrico County, you'll find that there are several branches that have already been researched and you might be able to tie your Wilson Woodson in that way.
