My ggrandmother's brother was deputy sheriff ( listed in 1900 & 1910 census) of Montgomery ( we were always told Sheriff) Beyond these listings though there is nothing. Is there anyway of locating him and his family through his career. Before and after these two census dates there is nothing? Which suggests to me they moved, but where is undeterminable as yet. The census lists him, his children and his sister (my ggrandmother). Surely at some point he was listed at deputy sheriff in the county or the local new papers (of which I know none of) or something. I only have this clue to locate my ggrandmothers parents. Any suggestions for locating him would be greatfully appreciated.
