I am trying to locate information about Francis M. Pierce/Pearce, born about 1842, and Harriet F. Davis. They were supposed to have married January 18, 1865 in Montgomery County. I have not found them in the 1870 census, but did find F. M. Pierce living with his brother's widow and her children in 1880 in Montgomery County. Frank's parents were George Washington Pearce and his wife Susan, maiden name unknown. I know nothing about Harriet's parents. Any information would be helpful. Their son, Sam Washington Pierce, was living with his grandmother, Susan Ann Pierce, in Montgomery County in 1880.
