    1. JOHN HUTCHISON (1740-1825)
    2. Anderson
    3. Linda: I'm not a Hutchison descendant, but our ancestors may have been fairly close neighbors on McAdoo Creek. Timothy and Elizabeth (Sloan) Anderson bought land there in 1791 from Arthur "Madow" (McDow, McAdoo) of Lancaster Co SC, where the Andersons also were from. One Anderson-Hutchison marriage was between Mattie Emma Anderson, b 1861, and Asa W. Hutchison, b 1856. According to WorldConnect submissions, Asa's father was James W. b ca 1828, gf Nathaniel O. b ca 1800, ggf James b ca 1770, John b ca 1740. 3. Andy,I have been looking at the pamphlet earlier mentioned and it has .There are two James Hutchison's listed. One has a wife Sarah Thomas and ten kids. The other is B 1808 and married to a Catherine -----?But I'm sure that this is the right Hutchison family.Thank you for all the help.I just wish we could go further back,I'm pretty sure they were involved in the reformation in Scotland, but no data to prove it.
