I have a copy of "The Hutchison Chronicles" by Phyllis Winthurst that I have looked things up in but not had the time to read all of it yet. She has done extensive research and I highly recommend it to any Huchison descendants. It is a fastinating account of this family. I have her address to request a copy. The book also has info on the Mc Nail family as well as Thomas, Roark, Smyth,Laird and Windhorst. In the book it indicates Catherine Lucy as the daughter of James & Sarah (nee Thomas). Catherine Lucy was a twin with John both born in 1792. I will be happy to do lookups with this book for specific information. It is extensive so if you are interested in the family history and the history of the area I recommend purchasing the book. I would also like the wagon train info. I would also like to email with any other Hutchison descendants. In their ministries with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church a lot of the family sort of spread out after the Civil War.
