Thanks, Frances -----Original Message----- From: Charlotte Moffatt [mailto:charronmoffatt@yahoo.com] Sent: Saturday, August 07, 2004 11:43 PM To: FRANO-COLA.SC@worldnet.att.net Subject: Montgomery County Hi, you are doing a wonderful job with Montgomery County. I descend from several early residents of the County--Rev. John Neblett (buried on his homestead), Thomas Mack Reynolds (His mother was buried in a small cemetery that was once their land. T.M. died Stewart Co.), and Peter Givan (in, en or ens). I am almost certain Peter was also buried on his land, but I believe his grave and that of his wife, Lucy Neblett, has been lost. While reading a "Memoir" of a cousin, Frances Thomason Landre written in 1894, I realized that I have a clue as to the location of the home. She states that she was born in Thomason, TN in a log home in early TN, and that her paternal grandfather had inherited it from his mother. It later burned. I have a copy of court records (if there was a will, I could not find it) in which Peter's estate was divided. I see on your site that there was once a Thomason, Tennessee. Could you please tell me where Thomason was located. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Charlotte Sharpe Moffatt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
